Repetition is the key to mastery.
If it’s important, it should be emphasized and reinforced consistently through a variety of different mediums. Repetition is not punishment. Repetition is a necessary pre-requisite to progress. If you want to get good at anything it requires repetition, repetition, repetition. True for individuals. True for teams.
The basics work.
A common mistake many teams make is they overcomplicate winning. They skip steps. They get infatuated with hacks and shortcuts. They get so fixated on results that they neglect the process. And once they find themselves severely underperforming, they pledge to ‘get back to the basics’ (when they never should have left them in the first place!). The fundamentals work. They always have and they always will.
